Improve Mac performance with Applixure

Since its launch, Applixure has collected computer and software data from Windows PCs and presented it in as visual, actionable reports in a cloud dashboard. Now, finally, Mac owners and administrators can also start improving their IT with real-time data.

- “As a Mac user myself, I’m really happy about this launch. However, Mac support is just one step, although an important one, toward the main goal: enabling transparent, data-driven and predictive IT service models,” says Harri Turtiainen, Applixure CEO.

Today, computer environments are more and more mixed. With macOS support, Applixure now covers all main use cases from Windows PCs to Macs and even virtual workstations and applications. Data from all these sources can be visualized and even automated as part of IT service processes.

Applixure gets early access to Microsoft’s enterprise marketplace

Applixure is among the first vendors to get their Power BI solution published in AppSource, Microsoft’s marketplace for businesses and enterprises. To get the Power BI Content Pack published, Applixure went through Microsoft’s early preview publishing process.

“I think we’re the first Finnish vendor on AppSource. It’s really nice to be listed among other great brands. One of Applixure’s core ideas is making complex data visual and actionable, so Power BI integration and additional customization options are sure to attract our clients,” says Kalle Saunamäki, Applixure CTO.

Applixure and ServiceNow integration cuts IT costs and enables proactive services

Computer and application data collected by Applixure can now be automatically utilized by ServiceNow, the leading ITSM tool. Applixure’s customer Affecto uses the integration to enable seamless workflow automation for IT services, leading to cost savings and proactive service.

Traditional IT services are based on reacting to service requests coming from users with faulty or underperforming hardware or software. Now, with Applixure and ServiceNow integration, problems can be identified, added to the service queue and fixed before they hinder the productivity of individual users.

This proactive model ensures that users stay productive and cuts overall IT costs. IT costs are reduced with predictive planning and resource optimization.

- “We want to disrupt traditional IT services with new operation and business models based on user-driven, proactive models. The cornerstone for this is continuous data collection, measurement and improvement”, says Applixure CEO Harri Turtiainen.
